Samsung Galaxy M42 5G expected to launch in India soon

NEW DELHI: South Korean tech giant Samsung is busy expanding its Galaxy M-series of smartphones. Recently, the company launched the Galaxy M12 in India and now it is expected to launch a Galaxy M42 5G in the country.
As per an online report, this will be Samsung’s most affordable 5G smartphone. The smartphone is said to be priced under Rs 25,000 and it will be available online on Amazon and and offline on authorised retail stores.
The smartphone is said to be powered by an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 750G processor paired with 4GB RAM.
Samsung Galaxy M42 5G is said to run Android 11 operating system and it is also said to come with Knox Security. The smartphone has already received BIS certification which means that it will soon launch in India.
The smartphone is also said to house a 6000 mAh battery and sport a 64MP quad-rear camera setup.
Recently, it was reported that Samsung is said to partner with Olympus for its upcoming smartphone. As reported by Mashable, neither of the two companies are yet to confirm the partnership, it is being allegedly said that Olympus cameras may debut with a special edition of Samsung Galaxy Fold or with the Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra.
Olympus is part of OM Digital Solution known for its professional cameras. The leakster says that the Japan-based camera company may offer branding as well as expertise in key areas of photography and videography for future Samsung flagship phones.
