Tech giant Apple is planning to launch its recently unveiled 2021 iMac lineup and the 2021 iPad Pro with the M1 chip on May 21, tipster Jon Prosser has claimed in a tweet. He also claimed that the new Apple TV 4K device with a redesigned Siri remote will be launched the same day. Apple had unveiled the new products during the Spring Loaded event.
Meanwhile, the preorders for the devices will start on April 30, that is, tomorrow. Apple claims that the new 12.9-inch iPad Pro is its most powerful and advanced iPad yet. The new iPad Pro runs on the Apple-designed M1 chip.
It features a new Liquid Retina XDR display and now includes support for Thunderbolt. Additionally, an all-new Ultra Wide front camera enables Center Stage, a new feature that automatically keeps users perfectly framed for video calls. The ISP and Neural Engine in M1 unlock even more capability from the pro camera system, bringing support for Smart HDR 3 for the first time to iPad Pro.
Apple introduced an all-new iMac featuring a thin design. The device is also powered by Apple’s own M1 chip. The iMac features a 24-inch 4.5K Retina display with 11.3 million pixels, 500 nits of brightness, and over a billion colors. It includes a 1080p FaceTime HD camera, mics, and a six-speaker sound system. Also, Touch ID has come to the iMac for the first time with the new device.
